Why do I have to pay a deposit to see Dr. Nigh? How much is it? What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?
In order to secure a new patient appointment with Dr. Nigh, a prepayment of the total cost of your appointment will be collected at the time of scheduling. If you are using insurance, that prepaid amount will be returned to you at the end of the intake appointment so the visit may be adjusted by your insurance provider. If not using insurance, then that prepayment will be used to cover the office visit.
Our goal is to help as many people as possible to the best of our abilities, so Dr. Nigh also has a 48 hour cancellation policy in order to provide time to allow those on the cancellation list to fill those openings.
In the event of a cancellation within that 48 hour window or a no-show for the appointment, the prepayment above will be collected as a no-show/cancellation fee.
I paid lots of money for my treatment plan, and I got another bill in the mail. What am I getting billed for?
When billing insurance for IVs please be aware that there are two portions to an IV. There is the service fee, and the ingredients. The ingredients for an IV are what you pay for in the clinic, and the majority cost of the IV. We have a cash pay cost of $50 per IV for the service fee. Insurance can charge $170+ per IV, so if you do not have total coverage on IV services, you will owe more money after the billing process has completed.
Once services are billed to insurance, Immersion Health can no longer negotiate pricing and any remaining balance is the patient's responsibility.
If you have any further questions about this process please call our billers at EMBS: (503) 384-2988
I stopped treatment halfway through my program. I think I have a credit on my account, what are my options?
If you stop treatment in our clinic for any reason during a treatment plan please let Dr. Nigh and Maria know immediately. We can hold funds for up to a year after the initial payment date. After a year has passed immersion health can no longer hold funds. Any credit on your account can be used toward services within Immersion Health. Services include treatments, and office visits. Your credit cannot be used for any products sold in the clinic such as supplements, snacks, etc.
What is Portland Natural Health? What is its relation to Immersion Health?
Immersion Health works in a collaborative work environment called Portland Natural Health (PNH). PNH is an umbrella for a bunch of different smaller practices. PNH has wonderful practitioners from massage therapists, to chiropractors and other naturopathic doctors. If you are interested in learning more about what else PNH offers click here.
I am interested in treatment at Immersion Health, but I don't live in Portland. What are my options?
Dr. Nigh works with patients around the world. Dr. Nigh cannot work with other practitioners directly regarding your case, however, we are happy to send over records with your documented permission. Dr. Nigh can prescribe IV therapy and other medications for you if he has licensure in your state.
We regularly have patients fly out for treatment in our clinic. Dr. Nigh offers intensive treatment programs for however long you are able to stay in Portland. The front desk will provide you with a schedule prior to your arrival.
Why are there no prices for IV and other therapies listed on the website?
Pricing on IV therapy, much like the other therapies offered at Immersion Health ranges based on the type, length and dosage of IV.
The minimum amount for any IV we offer is $206 out of pocket.
Any further questions about IV therapy at Immersion Health can be directed to the medical assisting staff at 503-719-4806.
